MDG'15 - uitwisseling Senegal - Dag 4

After the interesting study trips of yesterday, we focussed today on the activities in the schools. Despite of a nation wide strike our Senegalese colleagues were inventive enough to set up an interesting program. For our teachers Iris and Hannelore, it was their first contact with Senegalese students in a private school where there was no strike.

With the support of the Collectif of Teachers of Saint Louis, they set up an interesting discussion about the differences in the Belgian/Senegalese approach.

We will hear the story of our other teacher Véronique tomorrow. Today the belgian teachers stay in the families of their Senegalese colleagues. Also an opportunity for Jan and Bieze to be invited by the members of the Collectif/Le Partenariat, Latif and Karim. An excellent opportunity to have an exchange, not only on the level of education, but directly connected with the daily live and culture of the Senegalese people.
